Information about the announcement of Santander regarding asset management business

Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (“BZ WBK”) hereby informs that it has become aware of the publication by Banco Santander, its majority shareholder, of an announcement regarding reaching agreement by Banco Santander with affiliates of leading global private equity firms Warburg Pincus and General Atlantic to boost the global growth of its asset management unit, Santander Asset Management.
