Notification of the ING Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny

Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (“the Company”) hereby informs that on 2nd April 2013 it received from ING Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny the notification on Company’s shares acquisition and on the percentage share in the total number of votes gained because of this acquisition, i.e. notification on exceeding 5% of the total number of votes at the Company’s general meeting.

The copy of the notification is appended hereto (in Polish).

As per information contained in the said notice:

1. Date and type of event triggering the change of shareholding that the notification refers to:
Acquisition of shares which was settled on 27th March 2013.

2. Number of shares held before the change of shareholding and the percentage of share capital it represents and the number of votes attached to these shares and the percentage of the total number of vote they represent
Number of shares: 903 006, which represents 0,97 % of the Company’s share capital.
Number of votes carried by these shares: 903 006, which represents 0,97 % of the total number of votes at the Company’s general meeting.

3. Number of currently held shares and the percentage of share capital they represent plus the number of votes attached to these shares and the percentage of the total number of votes they represent
As of 2nd April 2013:
Number of shares: 4 966 506, which represents 5,31 % of the Company’s share capital.
Number of votes carried by these shares: 4 966 506, which represents 5,31 % of the total number of votes at the Comapny’s general meeting.
