Obtaining consent to amend the Statute in connection with the merger of Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. with Kredyt Bank S.A.

Further to current report No. 2/2012 published on 28 February 2012, the management board of Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (the “Company”) hereby announces that on 4 December 2012 the Polish Financial Supervision Authority issued a decision pursuant to Art. 34 section 2 of the Banking Law, granting consent to introducing an amendment to the Company’s statute in relation to the merger of the Company with Kredyt Bank S.A., which was approved by the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on 30 July 2012 and involving an amendment to §10 of the Company’s statute.

Art. 56 section 1.1 of the Act on Public Offering, Conditions Governing the Introduction of Financial Instruments to Organised Trading, and on Public Companies.
